Our Plant-Based Meals and Heating Instructions FAQs
Your DelecTable plant-based meals can be ordered by 10am every Thursday.
Our plant-based meals are designed to keep you feeling full. They are generous in portion and we target up to 650 calories per dish. This serving is recommended by our nutritionist- aim for bigger breakfasts and lunches and smaller dinners.
We use freezer/microwave friendly and recyclable containers. Cooler bags and gel packs are available, if needed.
Upon receiving your delivery, choose the first 2 meals that you would like to enjoy first and refrigerate them, the remaining meals are best kept fresh by freezing them. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before heating. If we make meals that need to be enjoyed first, they will be numbered 1-3 or marked "Eat First". These meals should then be enjoyed first and eaten by Wednesday of the week and the rest kept in the freezer. Our goal is to take the hassle out of healthy eating, so all you have to do is reheat and enjoy. You can also reheat your food on the stove or in the oven if you prefer.
Filipino Peanut Stew w/ Mushroom “Bagoong”
Brown rice, chickpeas, green beans, bok choy, long squash, carrots, peanut butter, mushroom, miso paste, kombu, organic gluten-free tamari, organic sugar, sea salt, onion, garlic, herbs, and spices.
Loaded Cantonese Chowmein
GF noodles, long squash, bean sprouts, carrots, green onion, broccoli, non-gmo tofu, organic gluten-free tamari, sea salt, sesame, org coconut sugar, garlic, olive oil, herbs and spices.
Brown rice, red lentils, eggplant, carrots, cabbage, onions, nori, shiitake mushroom, organic gluten-free tamari, sesame, garlic, olive oil, herbs, and spices.
Nicoise with Chickpea “Tuna” Salad
Spring mix, chickpeas, Yukon potatoes, carrots, green beans, beets, purple cabbage, tahini, red onion, celery, olives, lemon, olive oil, mustard, sea salt, nori, maple syrup, herbs, and spices.
Roasted Fennel Peas and Dill Pasta
Brown rice pasta, fennel, green peas, cannellini beans, butternut squash, parsley, dill, lemon, olive oil, onion, garlic, sea salt, herbs and spices.
For food safety, please heat your meals up to 165F.
All our plant-based meals are packed in freezer safe and microwave safe containers but we recommend reheating your food on the stove top or oven if available.
Stove top: Use a pan for dry meals and small pot for stews and soups. Stir until heated through using medium heat.
Oven: Preheat oven to 325F. Transfer meals into an oven safe dish and cover with foil. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
Microwave: Heat using 60% - 70% power for 5-8 minutes or until heated through.
*Remember to remove any plastic containers with sauces or dressings when reheating. These containers are not microwave safe.
All our meals are cooked from scratch each week. All DelecTable plant-based meals you receive should be frozen immediately except for 1-2 meals you would like to enjoy first or if they are numbered.
Meals that are numbered should be eaten by Tuesday. We do not guarantee freshness after this time.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any food allergies. Although we use gluten-free products, we cook in a certified commercial kitchen that is used by other teams who may have used ingredients that include your food allergy. All our equipment and cookware are properly cleaned and sanitized at all times, however for an added safety measure, we cannot accommodate any food allergies.
We are happy to customize to accommodate certain dietary requirements to help with chronic health issues such arthritis/inflammation, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc..
We do this by removing nightshades or substitute tofu with beans, or lower carb options.

We are the fully prepared plant-based meal delivery service in the city that combines love for food and nutrition with a goal to promote better health by providing cost free customization to suit your dietary needs. We want you to feel satisfied, feel good, and be healthy at the same time.
We try to accommodate all customization requests however with the approval of our in house holistic nutritionist we are able to use a small amount of tomatoes (skin and seeds removed) or gluten free organic tamari for sauces.
If you requested for your meals to be no night shades or no tofu, we will remove those ingredients from your meals and replace them with on hand vegetables but you may still get some meals with a small amount of tomato or tamari for flavour.
Please note: we are not able to to accommodate requests to remove any ingredients because of preference, sensitivity, and allergies.
